  1. Janet, I sent you a private message on your facebook page about a gift for my sister, Barb Boothby. Her B’day is April 12, and I’d like a pin for her made from your hands. She’s not into earrings, but loves pins. My price is under $50, if you can do this, please let me know.

I recently met a woman name Barb Boothbe and was admiring her rings and your work. I have a piece of jewelry that I would like reworked. I love your native style but would like this done in a non native style. I do not wish to offend you. However, if this is something that you would not be interested in, please let me know. You came so highly recommended that I thought it might be worth dropping you a line. Please let me know if you are interested.
    Thanks
    Patricia

No offense Patricia! We worked “regular” jewelry for over 10 yrs then went to our own designs in native to compete in that market. Less competition equals more sales and it’s been good for us. However, we still work in the traditional style for friends and friends of friends! And yes, we are interested. So just drop us an email to owen@walkergoldsmiths.com and we’ll get together.

    Dear Walkers,
I have two of your rings. The Raven and the Cedar Box. I am interested in possibly ordering another ring but the rings in the gallery are not identified, as far as I can see, regarding model or price. I wear the raven every day receiving many compliments.
    Sincerely,
    Brad

    Dear Janet,
I recently purchased a trade bead necklace and earrings on a Lindblad/National Geographic cruise to Alaska. The number is LN208 – I was told that if I got in touch you might tell me the story of these particular beads…. I would LOVE to hear more about them!!
    Thank you so much -

Hi Rita, Thank you so much for choosing my handmade art! Trade beads are one of my big passions and it’s very fun for me to talk to people who are curious about them. Those Lindbad folks are some of our favorite people and they also love Trade beads and appreciate them for not only their beauty but their historical aspect. The Legend necklace #208 is a great collection of Northwest Fur Trade beads. I’ve posted a blog about this particular necklace on our Active Artist site, so go there and please Enjoy!! http://activeartist.net/blog/a-really-lovely-combination-of-trade-beads/
There are links on that page that take you to others with information about the particular beads in your necklace. So follow the paths and get back to me with any questions you may have. Have Fun!!!

You could have a trade-bead gallery with all of the necklaces you have made. They are all really great works of art. Very colorful and unique.
