This is a split design that really should be called “Sea Bear” North West peoples didn’t have lions so to them the creature we call California Sea Lion or Stellars Sea Lion was a Grizzly bear that lived in the sea. I finally just gave up arguing with people about sea bear versus sea lion. I have made several Sea Bear designs but usually just call them “Bear” because so many people say there is no such thing as a “Sea Bear”. It really depends on who is doing the naming!
