Walker Goldsmiths Lost Wax Cast Sterling Eagle Earrings #604

This is one of our favorite lost wax cast Sterling Earrings, Dancing Eagle, at Walker Goldsmiths. Eagle is one of the two principle clans of the Tlingit and Haida. Eagles are symbols of power, authority and prestige among many nations as well as Northwest Coast People. Eagle is most often referred to as a matriarch or a patriarch in legends and represented a kindly, honest figure dealing with fairness, authority and power. The Eagle represents the Spirit of Illumination, Healing and Creation. We have seen the Eagles revive themselves in the last 30 yrs. and what a blessing that is to us. We’re able to see at least seven Eagle nests near to our home and stomping grounds and it is a treat indeed! Watching them court, mating in their sky-dance, set on eggs in their huge nests, feed and rearing their young as they flap their new wings perched on the side of their nests and launching forth with their new flight skills. Eagle’s sight is incredible! Soaring so high in the sky they can still see whatever they need because they have vision that is 8 times greater than humans. Those with an Eagle totem can celebrate intensity of accurate vision into the past, present as well as the future. And Eagles are always looking for opportunities. Is this you, dancing into the future?
