Cast Sterling Osprey Ring

Walker Goldsmiths lost wax cast Sterling Silver Osprey Ring #319 by Janet Walker has been made to celebrate  the Ospreys of North Idaho. The Osprey is sometimes called a “Sea Hawk” or a “Fish Hawk” because of it’s primary diet, depending on whether it’s fishing in the sea or the lakes. It is often mistaken for an Eagle because of it’s coloring, but it is the only hawk with a white colored breast. It is most numerous in coastal regions and large lakes. We see them frequently in North Idaho on Lake Pend d’O’Reilly hunting, fishing, nesting and raising their young. The sky and the water are both the realms of this Hawk and if it’s your totem you can be very versatile and intense. Ospreys are one of the keen eyed Raptors, seeing into the water from high in the air, diving feet first to catch food for it’s family.

This Osprey ring is very sculptural and 3-D. 20mm high, 18mm wide on top with wings tapering to a 6mm squared shank. Yes, those are elevated talons ready to pounce or dive! The underside is hollowed to create a well balanced weight for a comfortable ring designed and made by Walker Goldsmiths.

Available in Sizes 8 to 14.
